Full Moon
Photo of the full moon on January 21, 2008. Not as detailed as I would have wished for, although you can clearly see many distinct features of the moon in the photo. In the upper half, you'll see (top to bottom, left to right) Sea of Storms (Mare Crisium), Sea of Serenity (Mare Serenitatis), Sea of Tranquility (Mare Tranquillitatis), Sea of Fertility (Mare Foecunditatis) and Sea of Rains (Mare Imbrium). In the bottom half you can clearly see the massive Copernicus (left) and Tycho (right bottom) craters.Exposure Time: 1/51 sec • F-Number: f/16.0
